Key points
Students gain the experience and acquire the skills necessary to use the English language at a high level. Teachers set milestones and goals for each student, with constant evaluation. This sets the pace for each learner to surpass their academic expectations.
Individual tuition provides participants with a learning experience tailored to their precise needs. The student is assigned a range of tutors throughout the day, who adopt the style and pace of their pedagogical approach to ensure that the individual before them can perform as a confident speaker of English.
The course exposes learners to a range of authentic sources from different academic subjects, piquing their intellectual curiosity alongside exposing them to different styles and registers, as well as new vocabulary and structures. Students debate, discuss and analyse these sources, leading to increased confidence and fluency alongside enhanced critical thinking skills.
For the learner to feel at ease using English in a professional or leadership context
In order to be effective in their profession, the learner needs to feel comfortable when using English so that they can perform on an equal basis with native speakers.
The course is designed for experienced professionals who need to lead strategies, manage teams or advise organisations. Participants are likely to have backgrounds in business or leadership. They will have developed management skills throughout their career, but are now in a position to be able to operate internationally. This requires a critical refresher course to enable the participant to be able to operate with self-assurance and precision in an English-speaking international environment.
