About OISE Paris
OISE Paris welcomes students from all ages from 12 years old to 17 years old. The school offers two programs to allow everyone to practice the language
The Course formats are intensive, weekly and systematically associated with personal work. Classes are held in small groups, which allows the teacher
to listen to the student and provide personalized help.
12 - 14 year olds
Groups have a maximum of 4 students of the same level of French and similar age. The programs and contents are specially adapted to the group according
to the needs of the students and their objectives. OISE language courses require some involvement and dedication from the students. Homework is given
every day of the week.
On Fridays, each student delivers what they did for their project and performs in front of others. For their oral presentations, the student chooses
what they want by considering the theme of the day: "what do I know about architecture, architecture in my country, in my city, the one I love, etc.
They can also show photos taken during their stay and comment on them. Each of them is responsible for their presentation and must express their tastes,
impressions, preferences and personal experiences
14 - 17
Groups are up to 8 students, of different nationalities, from 14 to 17 years old. This intensive course includes 22.5 hours of classes designed to
help our students communicate in French effectively and eloquently
Level test: An initial assessment of each student is made before their arrival via a French test sent by email during the month of June 2018 and a
Skype session. This assessment is then refined by an oral test on arrival. The groups are formed and can be modified according to the progress and
difficulties of each student.
Teaching French: The courses (maximum 8 students per class) are designed according to strict pedagogical rules. Morning classes are intensive and focused
on basic knowledge. Any grammar or vocabulary rule is immediately put into practice. Small groups allow teachers to give individual attention to each
student. The afternoon workshops (early afternoon) systematically call upon the fundamentals of the morning.
Our social programme provides an opportunity to speak French outside the classroom. Examples of trips included are the famous Notre-Dame, Le Marais and
Place de Vosages, all very intersting and popular attractions in Paris. All activities and full day excursions are part of the course, prepared by
tutors in order for students to practice french vocabulary and French expressions in a variety of situations
