The English language school OISE Bristol is conveniently located only a few minutes' walk from the waterfront and Bristol city centre. The school is in a listed building, dating from 1800 and originally a wine warehouse: a testament to the rich maritime history of the city. Full of character, it incorporates a superb mix of traditional architecture and contemporary interior, making it the ideal location to study an intensive English programme.
Bristol is one of the most vibrant cities in Europe, located in the south west of England, within easy reach of London, Bath and the beautiful 'English Riviera'. Wide tree-lined avenues, green sprawling parks and colour-washed Georgian houses provide a contrast to the extensive millennium development which has rejuvenated Bristol's waterfront. This former industrial waterfront has been transformed into a cosmopolitan cultural centre boasting fashionable warehouse flats, gourmet restaurants and the latest in public transport.
Bristol is a city nurturing new talent in the worlds of art, music and design, and prides itself on its dynamic youth culture. Yet the city also boasts the relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere which has been the hallmark of Clifton, the old university quarter of the city. Here you will find wide open spaces and elegant streets to explore at your leisure.
