OISE's exciting after-class
entertainment programme can be divided into four clear sections: sports,
fun and games, excursions, and project workshops.
Sports Sports take place both on site, making the
most of the school’s excellent facilities and in local leisure centres,
accommodating more unusual activities.
Fun and games These include a wealth of afternoon
and evening entertainments. Examples include barbecues, talent shows,
treasure hunts, quiz nights and discos, which give students the opportunity
to relax, chat and have fun with their new-found friends from around the
world.
Excursions
There is one full day trip organised each week to a place of local historical
and cultural interest. Students can look forward to a fun-packed, exciting
and educational day. Afternoon outings
give students a chance to get to know and enjoy the locality. Attractions
include shops, museums, historical sites and other entertaining venues.
Project workshops Project
workshops offer students the chance to develop skills in subjects such
as web design or digital photography.
All activities are fully
supervised ensuring students' enjoyment in a stimulating, safe environment.
The
choice of activities available is dependent on the course type and the
course location.
