One of OISE’s longest running summer centres; Swindon is located approximately 1 hour from London by train. Situated in the county of Wiltshire, this old market town was the centre of development of the railways in the area, with Brunel’s railway works in use for 150 years.

In recent times the works have been restored and remain an integral part of the town’s culture and entertainment scene forming a modern pedestrianised shopping centre, including a retail outlet with excellent shopping facilities. Despite this part of the old town still exists and there are picturesque villages to explore just outside Swindon.

OISE Swindon is based in the Walcot area and is a contemporary building with excellent sports facilities, complementing the many leisure amenities, restaurants and cinemas as well as parks and museums.
