Full Study programme for children (7-13 years)

The aim of the programme for children in Taunton and Dorking is to give them an early advantage for the rest of their lives: a love of the English language at an age when it can make a real difference, both because of their great motivation, and the enhanced capacity younger children have to absorb the language.

OISE Taunton and OISE Dorking are purpose-designed for younger children with sports and leisure facilities on site, a swimming pool and large grounds and lawns for outdoor games and activities. The lessons are lively, interesting and, above all, fun. Pupils are encouraged to develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills using carefully selected texts, audio tapes, games, role-play activities and songs.

OISE, recognising that the safety and well-being of the children in its care is of the utmost importance, provides:
• 24-hour supervision
• all teaching staff live on campus
• no child is allowed out at any time unless accompanied by an adult.
