The USA programme

17.5 hours tuition per week with an additional 5 hours "Cultural Workshop". Maximum class size - 8

Age range: 14-17 years

Every morning the students develop their accuracy in speaking, listening, reading and writing. Afternoon oral and communications skills workshops are designed to encourage fluency and build confidence in speaking the language. Each week day, 1 hour is dedicated to a "Cultural Workshop", allowing students to practise their English whilst learning more about the vibrant city surrounding them.

The late afternoon programme gives the students a chance to participate in cultural and leisure activities which further enhance their learning experience. As well as various sports options, activities include art, drama, local excursions, dance and much more.

Students also benefit from a full evening programme, allowing them to practise their language skills as well as  to relax and integrate with the other pupils. Activities include discos, casino night, film night and fashion show.

The USA programme takes place at the world-renowned University of California in Berkeley. The opportunity to undertake an intensive course in this colourful and cosmopolitan city is one not to be missed.
