The Newbury Hall Programme is a full time course of minimum 27 full hours of tuition per week, and runs from January to December, including the summer months. Taught in groups of up to eight pupils of the same English level, the small number of participants ensures maximum individual attention and continuous monitoring by the tutor.

The American English Programme is a full time course of 22.5 hours per week. 17.5 full hours of tuition are supplemented with 5 hours of cultural workshops in small groups of up to eight students. This class size encourages a strong group dynamic as well as maximising individual attention.
Morning classes focus on the development of oral and written expression and comprehension, developing grammar and vocabulary. This new language flows into the evening workshops emphasising fluency through discussion, presentation and creative writing.

Designed for young learners between ages 14 to 17 who already have an advanced level of English, The Oxford College Programme is the most rigorous of OISE courses; for students wanting to perfect their English language skills.
The Oxford College programme offers students ample opportunity to prepare for an aspirational, professional future through skill-based workshops, field trips and case study analyses.
Tuition takes place in small groups of maximum eight students. This allows constant attention and feedback on the individual’s progress in a syllabus tailored to the age group. The daily research project is taught in groups of four, and concentrates on current affairs through text analysis and debate, resulting in a presentation at the end of each week.
Morning lessons are common to all courses and focus mainly on improving students’ academic English and developing the skills needed to study at an English-speaking university. The afternoon lessons are subject specific, and students choose between the following subjects: International Relations, Journalism and Digital Media, Entrepreneurship, Politics, Philosophy and Economics.
By the end of the course the student will have acquired superior language and communication skills which can be applied to a wide range of social, academic and professional contexts; to communicate in English with complete confidence.

Students are completely immersed in the English language from the start of the day to the very end in order to maximise the learning potential. This comes in the form of intensive English, subject and project classes and cultural excursions.
Working in small groups with learners from around the world, students develop interpersonal communication skills as well as enhance their cultural knowledge; towards becoming truly global citizens.
The morning lessons train all aspects of English language acquisition, from grammar to vocabulary, listening, speaking and writing. The lessons aim to give students life skills, especially in areas such as time management and study skills.
The afternoon lessons focus on specific subjects and projects that allow students to learn about the world through the medium of English. Students choose their topic in each of the afternoon lessons; examples being History, Geography, Law, Business, Media and Theatre.
Every Wednesday afternoon, students go on excursion to a local point of interest. This is used to engage with British culture, and students are given a task to enhance their experience.

The Cambridge Exam Preparation programme is an intensive course designed to familiarise students with the exam paper and improve both their English language skills and their chance of exam success.
The Cambridge Preparation programme is a full time course of 27 full hours a week. Every Wednesday afternoon all students will visit a local point of interest. This will be used to engage in further learning about British culture and students will be given a task to consolidate their experience.
The small group size of a maximum of eight participants allows for a great deal of interaction among students, and ensures maximum individual attention and feedback from the tutor. Students can take either the FCE or CAE exams, and classes are divided into groups of students taking each one.
The Cambridge Exam Preparation course is fast paced and uses a range of stimulating coaching routines to engage students and familiarise themselves with the test. The course covers the four skills tested in the exam in depth; listening, reading, writing and speaking. Authentic past papers are used to simulate the exam situation and familiarise students with time management constraints.

The IELTS Exam Preparation programme is the ideal way to familiarise students with the IELTS exam, providing tuition in every aspect of the paper to give students the confidence required to perform to the best of their ability.
The IELTS Preparation programme is a full time course of 30 full hours a week. The intensive course includes 6 hours of classes per day, divided into 3 hours of lessons in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon.
The IELTS exam is taken directly after the course. Classes are taught in groups of maximum of 8 students. The small groups allow greater contact with the language and interaction among students and ensure maximum individual attention and feedback from the tutor. Students decide which of the two versions of the test they prefer to take at the school.
The IELTS Preparation programme is aimed at young people aged between 15 and 17 years who want to get the best possible score in the IELTS exam. The test is particularly suitable for those who wish to enroll at a university in the UK or USA in the subsequent 2 years.
The course takes a dynamic approach to ensure the best possible results in the exam.
