OISE Heidelberg is located in the heart of the city, close to the beautiful river Neckar. The traditional university town attracts many German learners from all over the world looking to participate in an intensive and effective German course. The staff make sure every student is placed in the right group and at the right level in order achieve maximum success during their stay. The small groups with no more than 4 per class, create a familiar atmosphere and each student gets the chance to work actively and precisely on different areas of learning. During break-times, students have the chance to chat informally and enjoy a relaxed social environment with a beautiful, sunny roof terrace. Dedicated teachers and helpful staff are always happy to assist you in any way possible!
Heidelberg offers numerous cultural festivals all year round, starting with
“Heidelberger Fruehling”, a highlight full of musical events around the city. The combination of world-famous musicians and newcomers as well as interesting themes, offer a setting for a fascinating symbiosis between the artists and the audience and a diverse cultural mix. More than 130 events attract around 35,000 visitors every year. The title of the 18th "Heidelberger Fruehling" this year is: “Parallel Stories”.

With up to 30 hours lessons per week, the topics range from Business German to vocabulary around employment, travel and every-day topics, and tutorials provide an opportunity to specialise on a particular area of interest. Of course the afternoon and evening programme also offers many opportunities for participants to socialise and network.
